Restoration and technical upgrade of a listed building built in 1893, designed by architect Anastasios Metaxas. The interventions were designed with respect for the historical and architectural character of the building, with the aim of preserving its morphological elements and simultaneously upgrading its functional and energy efficiency. The approach combines modern restoration techniques and high-quality materials which are fully harmonized with the existing construction materials, ensuring the durability of the construction and the highlighting of the original architectural features.

• Static reinforcement of the end eaves

• Construction and installation of a frame and local supports made of stainless steel to ensure the static adequacy of the final eaves.
• Reconstruction of all decorative elements of the eaves using GFRC (Glass Fiber Reinforced Concrete) to faithfully restore the original morphology.

• Roof thermal and moisture insulation

• Dismantling of the previous insulation system.
• Implementation of a new integrated thermal and moisture insulation system to improve energy performance and protect the building from moisture and heat loss.
